Lalique - Tourbillons Vase Black

Created by René Lalique in 1926, Tourbillons — "whirlwinds" — is one of the maison's defining Art Deco designs, its deeply carved volutes spiralling with almost mechanical energy. Cast in glossy black crystal, the relief reads as pure sculpture: shadows pool in the recesses while polished edges catch the light. With or without flowers, it commands a room, and it remains one of the great collectable objects of French crystal.
